The wardLight is an evolution from our highly successful integra range of Bedhead Services Trunking Systems with integrated luminaries for both general ambient and patient reading lighting. The integra wardLIGHT provides the perfect supplementary lighting system for any ward area or corridor and will act as the sole source of room illumination for the ward environment, whether single or multi-bedded wards. It can provide the means of night lighting when provided as a dimmable system. By creating a uniform appearance to the whole hospital environment including ancillary treatment rooms, hospital streets and waiting areas, this fitting offers a universal lighting solution throughout a single project. Combining stylish curves with the high performance expected of any CABLEFLOW lighting product, the wardLIGHT enhances the aesthetic appeal of any environment. All fittings are supplied ready for installation and connection, complete with lamps and gear all pre-wired internally to a single connection point.

The down/reading light facility provides in excess of 300 lux on the pillow to comply with BS EN 12464 and can be controlled via the latching relay of the nurse call system from the nurse call patient handset. The dimmable downlight enables full compliance with HTM 2015 for dimming whilst also providing the added features benefit of a watch light facility. The override control switch will generally be located on the corresponding item of bedhead services trunking or the bedhead panel. The design of the luminaire optics ensure no discomfort glare to a prone, recumbent patient in an opposite bed, all generally as defined within CIBSE LG2:1989 and below 700 cd/m2. All fittings are supplied ready for installation and connection, complete with lamps and gear all pre-wired internally to a single connection point. |
