Victoria & Stobhill Hospitals
December 2007



CABLEFLOW International have secured orders for their bedhead Services trunking Systems on both Victoria and Stobhill hospitals in Glasgow. The projects currently under construction by Balfour Beatty feature extensive works to the ACAD centres and will include products from throughout the CABLEFLOW range.

Commercial Director Richard Dorkings comments "These two projects are significant in terms of current NHS Scotland developments and our product offering was considered second to none whereby we could service all clinical areas from within our product range. Mater Dei General Hospital
November 2007



The New Mater Dei General Hospital in Birkikara on the island of Malta was officially handed over to the Foundation for Medical Science (FMS) last month.

CABLEFLOW systems have been installed extensively throughout all areas of this prestigious project which has been developed by SKANSKA. The CABLEFLOW integra system, supplied as fully pre-wired, pre-gassed product has been installed throughout all ward areas. The integrated lighting system acts as the sole source of room illumination where ceiling heights are almost four-metres and has been hailed by the clinicians as a major improvement in clinical provision at the bedhead.

The EUR 200m new hospital will become operational in early 2009 when the transfer of major services will commence from the current St Lukes site.



University College London Hospital
November 2007



The capitals landmark hospital, University College London Hospital, located at the top of Tottenham Court Road has again selected CABLEFLOW systems for phase 2 of the development currently under construction by BCJV.

Having selected the impressive performance characteristics of the integra system for the main Phase 1 tower block, distinctive for its 16 floors and clean white facade which can be seen across London's sky line, architects LDW and contractor BCJV have again selected CABLEFLOW bedhead system for the Phase 2 maternity works on the EGA wing.

Using CABLEFLOW's specialist equipment for maternity and LDRP rooms, the entire site will now feature state of the art bedhead services product from the UK's leading manufacturer.

St Helen's and Whiston Hospital
August 2007



CABLEFLOW International, Britain's largest produce of Bedhead Services Trunking Systems and Medical Supply Units, have been awarded the supply and installation contract for their highly acclaimed integra integrated lighting system on the £300m St Helen's and Whiston Hospital projects.

Cableflow complete the supply chain link between Taylor Woodrow Construction and NG Bailey on these two projects for bedhead services which will include nurse call systems by Protec.

Communications Director John Cunningham said " We have so far supplied our integra system on every PFI project which Taylor Woodrow have constructed and the fact that this award winning system has once more been selected, where TWC consider us as a key part of their healthcare supply chain, is in itself testament to the capabilities of the product. The Trust reviewed at great length the proposals and visited a number of operational installations where the user feedback was highly complimentary and we look forward to serving the communities of Merseyside with much improved healthcare facilities on these projects"

 

Beacon Court
January 2007

Demonstrating that markets are no barrier for innovation, CABLEFLOW have successfully completed the installation of their Queen's Award winning Bedhead Services Trunking system with integrated lighting on the Beacon Court Private Hospital project in Sandyford, Dublin. The high quality of interior finish is complemented by state of the art bedhead services containment throughout the 150 bed facility.

Beacon Court Hospital is a full service hospital which comprises of 238,000 sq. feet over 9 floors, having a total capacity of 183 beds. Beacon hospital combines the best in Irish and US healthcare. As the showcase site for General Electric in Europe, it has the most up to date Radiology systems, including MRI, CT scanner with cardiac capabilities, CT Sim, and PET/CT. It also features Digital Radiology suites with advanced Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound, as well as Angiography suites and lab with advanced single- plane and bi-plane systems and Flouroscopy.

John Radcliffe Hospital
March 2006

In conjunction with main Contractor Carillion, CABLEFLOW have now completed the bespoke supply and installation of over 450 bedhead locations at the New John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington Oxford under the PFI scheme.

The installation involves a series of horizontal linear systems for In Patient accommodation varying in application between Children's and Adults areas using the companies highly acclaimed Queen's Award winning integra lighting and Medisys trunking systems. Specialist areas have been equipped with high dependency Vertical Medicols incorporating the PatientLine patient entertainment systems, examination lighting luminaires and all general patient care services.



Commercial Director Richard Dorkings commented on the installation "this is a flagship PFI hospital which has been built to exemplary standards by Carillion and CHT. The state of the art facility is enhanced but carefully thought out bedhead services in collaboration with the Trust which enhance the patient environment for both the patient and staff alike.
