The success of our MEDICOL vertical bedhead services containment product is proven over three decades across a broad NHS estate. A stylish, adaptable vertical medical supply unit proven in application over many thousands of installations where the architectural constraints dictate the use of vertical containment, MEDICOL has now evolved as a product option to incorporate the ductwork and angled grille for low level toxic waste gases extraction from clinical environments.

HTM 03-01 provides up to date guidance on how ductwork and grilles should be provided yet only covers these within a builders work arrangement. The development of MEDICOLAIR supplements our vertical bedhead range and unique in incorporating the duct work and angled grille within the single medical supply unit assembly and not as a ‘bolt-on’ or supplementary assembly. This is particularly relevant when siting a MEDICOL /  MEDICOLAIR each side of a clinical bed space so that visual and aesthetic uniformity is maintained .

Available in a variety of widths and depths to suit the ductwork and grille dimensions required for the applicable environment volume and to ensure air flow velocities, noise reduction and extraction volumes MEDICOLAIR offers a single product solution that significantly reduces site installation time and cost, and offers programme efficiencies and reduced trade works on site. There are no limitations to capability with this product.
