Cableflow medical supply units are installed in almost every NHS Acute Trust and private hospital throughout the UK as a core element of new build or, refurbishment projects across a broad and varied healthcare estate. We are an accredited NHS Procure 22 provider of bedhead services containment systems.
The job role
We are recruiting for a junior CAD technician to join our busy and growing design team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the UKs leading medical supply unit manufacturer and contribute towards our growing success. We operate in a high volume fast paced environment where attention to detail is paramount.
The role has some element of concept design involved although configuring our established systems to client needs is the core function.
You will be experienced in AutoCAD and have experience in a similar role ideally within an allied engineering sector.
We are looking for the right person to make their mark across sour team and add value to our offer.
What’s it all about?
As a Cableflow CAD Technician you’ll be recognised as an industry specialist working within a market leading design and manufacturing business. You will be supporting our Design Manager on developing and integrating our products within new build or refurbishment healthcare projects across the UK for our NHS and private sector healthcare clients.
You will be based at our High Wycombe head office facility where we operate on a 40 hour week.
This is an entry level position for the right person and demonstrating competency in AutoCAD is essential. Any experience in 3D modelling would be an asset.
You should have an eye for detail, have good communication and presentation skills and recognise the quality of product we aspire to, taking pride in the end product whilst sharing our values and those of our clients.
You will be required to demonstrate innovative qualities and contribute to design collaboration across the business.
The work is specialised but the experience of our team will be fully on hand to guide, train an help resolve. We will train you and you will generally work as part of a fully supervised team, although some individual working requiring initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude is vital.
What will you be doing?
The key purpose of this role is to prepare design for manufacturing whilst some product development interface will also be applied.

Salary: circa £ TBC per annum subject to experience
