Cableflow medical supply units have been selected by IHP and Dalkia on the new Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital Transformation Programme development, also known as ‘HTP’. The project involves refurbishing, remodelling and extending the existing Emergency Department on the site, along with constructing a new hospital design.
Cableflow, the UK’s premier medical supply unit manufacturer will supply over 350 vertical bedheads across the scheme which is currently making rapid progress on site. The project objective is to optimise healthcare across two sites, the Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) in Telford and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH) in Shrewsbury. It will see RSH becoming the centre for critical care, housing the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit and Women & Children’s services, while PRH will become the Planned Care site, accommodating the Urgent Treatment Centre and Surgical Centre. Plans will support the HTP’s vision to deliver two thriving hospitals and better care for everyone in the community.
Cableflow product will be a key part of that patient experience and at the centre of clinical delivery within almost every treatment space with Dalkia optimising the Cableflow supply and installation of factory built, pre-wired, pre-gassed bedhead units with a full and proven regulatory wrapper around the product offer.
