Contractor Bouygues UK has topped out the new £80 million Ambulatory Diagnostic Centre (ADC) at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth, marking the completion of the main structure, in what the contractor dubs a ‘transformative healthcare project’ set to enhance diagnostic and treatment services in the local community.
Cableflow bedhead services trunking systems have been selected for installation across this development marking a further strengthening of our product footprint across this site for the Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. A mixture of medical supply units in vertical, horizontal and Renal services formats containing varying configurations of patient care services will be deployed on this scheme along with overbed healthcare lights from our WAVELED range and supplementary medical equipment rails. The scheme, designed by MEP engineer AECOM, is underpinned the Cableflow philosophy of a full and broad product portfolio within a single product family for all clinical locations across a single site facilitating the patient journey from entry-to-exit.
The new facility will aim to address health inequalities by doubling capacity for renal and cancer services, ensuring local access to critical treatments sooner. Enhancements include e increasing chemotherapy chairs, allowing for approximately 3,000 more cancer treatments over the next decade, and doubling dialysis chairs and enhancing the renal care provision within the locality.
