Our Royal Visit

In 2024 we were honored with the grant of a Kings Award for Enterprise: International Trade, our second Kings Award in successive years and the highest accolade for UK business success which signifies Royal recognition of outstanding UK companies.

Today, Thursday 3rd April 2025 at the home of Cableflow, we welcomed His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO to present us with our Award.

To celebrate our success we were joined by His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, The Countess Howe along with the High Sherrif of Buckinghamshire, The Chairman of Buckinghamshire Council, the Mayor of High Wycombe and representatives from the Department of Business and Trade with whom we are Export Champions.

Cableflow were one of 252 organisations nationally to be granted a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in 2024, and recognised for our exceptional performance over consecutive years in International Trade.

The Grant of this Award from His Majesty King Charles III was the second successive Kings Award for Cableflow following a Kings Award for Enterprise: Innovation in 2023, adding to a Queens Award for Enterprise in 2005, also for innovation. These recognitions validate our position in the healthcare sector and place Cableflow amongst the UK’s most respected and leading businesses.

Cableflow are the UK’s largest manufacturer of Medical Supply Units which are used across the devolved NHS administrations and the private healthcare sector. This prestigious Award is an internationally recognised Royal approval and celebrates outstanding achievement and excellence by UK businesses.

An established, valued product offering across the UK’s healthcare infrastructure, including Procure 23 and pre-emptive NHP schemes has enabled Cableflow to expand our horizons and develop our international trade footprint. Exceptional export revenue growth over the past four years has contributed towards increased export exposure for our products yet with the UK domestic market very much at the forefront of our focus.

During the presentation citation, His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Lady Howe, commented:

“Amassing three Royal Grants over your corporate lifetime is an outstanding success in itself and recognises the exceptional efforts of all your team.  Through sound leadership and investment in your people, these Awards recognise Cableflow amongst the UK’s business elite, where you have developed business strength and market recognition not just in the UK but in overseas territories too. This award exemplifies the connection between innovation and commercial success and reflects the growing global market for your products.”

In acknowledging this Kings Award for Enterprise presentation, Cableflow CEO Graeme Dell commented:

It was our delight to welcome His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester to Cableflow today and share with him the story of our amazing journey, to showcase our facility and for him to meet our amazing team. We discussed many issues during his visit as he engaged with all of our staff to understand their pride in the products they produce and the difference we make with our solutions to continually improving the patient experience and healing environments”.

“Our position as the UK’s leading Medical Supply Unit manufacturer is underpinned by this Royal validation, recognising that our reputation in the UK healthcare sector is established and being seen globally”.
